Emilie Johal is a visual designer with expertise in branding, publications, print production and website design. Johal has received a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Design, and a minor in Art History, from the University of California Davis. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Johal is currently based in Sacramento, CA. Johal is employed as a Visual Designer at Page Design Group. Her current clients include UC Davis Health PRIDE, The Waterbirds Foundation, RedRover, Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, California Rice Commission and Visit California. Johal's design advocacy includes LGBTQ+ visibility, Indigenous community support, wildlife protection, and pet safety. Her personal strengths include communication, collaboration and leadership.

She previously interned as a graphic designer for UC Davis Student Affairs in the Marketing and Communications Department. Her clients included the – LGBTQIA Resource Center, Native American Academic Student Success Center, Women's Resources and Research Center, and the Strategic Asian and Pacific Islander Retention Initiative.

Johal’s independent design ventures include Johal Geometrics – Fine Art and Prints, a collaboration with Angela Johal and Kaur Archives, a collaboration with Natalie Johal.
